Reliable, safe energy storage.
This compact, rechargeable battery provides reliable and safe energy storage for a huge range of subsea applications, including instrumentation, communication systems, or as a back-up power supply.
A new way to power up
Developed specifically to meet the harsh demands of the subsea environment, Charge offers a high energy density solution – giving you maximum deployment and application flexibility. It’s available in 12, 24 or 48V DC output configurations, and energy capacity and housing dimensions can be selected based on your needs. Other system features can be customised too, simply ask us and we’ll accommodate.
Key features
Applications for Charge include environmental monitoring sensors, oceanographic instrumentation and subsea communications systems. Here’s what else you need to know about this product:
Prolong operating duration of subsea instruments and measuring equipment with Charge, by using it as a supplementary power supply or UPS. Extending the installation periods for ocean monitoring equipment, like ADCPs, means less change-outs – improving data quality and reducing costs of long-term monitoring.
Charge lets you boost the power supply of ROVs and AUVs. For powering ROV tooling, it can reduce the burden on the vehicle’s onboard power supply – increasing the available functionality and reducing the cost of subsea inspection and intervention operations.
The compact nature of Charge, as well as its high energy density, gives onboard electrification of subsea vehicles more potential – removing the need for a tether and providing access to otherwise restricted areas.
